SPREADING HOLIDAY CHEER: HOSPITALITY RESTAURANTS AND BLUE RIBBON MEATS SPONSOR HOLIDAY DINNER FOR BOYS HOPE GIRLS HOPE!

In the spirit of sharing joy during the holiday season, Hospitality Restaurants has once again played a significant role in making a difference. The company participated in Boys Hope Girls Hope's (BHGH) Christmas celebration, a heartwarming event that brought smiles, laughter, and a sense of community to all involved.

At the heart of this initiative was a partnership with Blue Ribbon Meats, HR’s Certified Angus Beef supplier.  The two companies’ joint effort contributed 175 Spiral-Sliced Smoked Hams, providing the main course for a wonderful holiday dinner that was given to every family BHGH touches. This thoughtful donation added warmth and festivity to the Christmas party, making it a memorable and joyous occasion for BHGH scholars, their siblings, and families.

The BHGH Christmas party was a resounding success, thanks to the collective kindness and generosity of all those involved. Attendees enjoyed a delightful brunch, engaging games, and the highlight of the day – the distribution of gift boxes to BHGH scholars including the Spiral-Sliced Hams and grocery store gift cards to their families to ensure a holiday meal to remember. The event marked the beginning of the Christmas season on a note of gratitude, happiness, and togetherness.

While words can only capture so much, the pictures from the day radiate the energy and excitement that filled the room. It is a testament to the positive impact that collaborative efforts and acts of kindness can have on the community.

The holiday initiative extends beyond the immediate festive season. BHGH's goals include providing each scholar with five simple gifts at the Christmas party, followed by a commitment to support each scholar's family with a $50 gift card and a ham for a holiday meal. These contributions help alleviate some of the challenges faced by families, especially in light of rising inflation and food costs.

Hospitality Restaurants' support aligns seamlessly with BHGH's broader mission of fostering long-term success for scholars. BHGH focuses on comprehensive programs, including the thirty-week Academy programming, year-round residential programs, and career readiness and college success initiatives. The organization maintains a commitment to each scholar, guiding them for up to twelve years to achieve success in college or launch their careers.

As the Christmas season unfolds, BHGH extends a humble request for continued support. Donations to the Boys Hope Girls Hope NEO - Angel Fund can contribute to the success and well-being of 188 scholars from 175 families. The Angel Fund not only supports holiday initiatives but also provides emergency resources and a dedicated Resource Room for ongoing needs.
