Gourmets in the Garden
Pete Joyce, Executive Chef at the Blue Point Grille, wowed the crowd again this year at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens "Gourmets in the Garden" cooking demonstration on Wednesday, July 9th.
Pete offered tasty samples of his talented artistry and demonstrated how to recreate the dishes on the beautiful Geis Terrace. This year's selections were Crabmeat Guacamole, Locally Grown Tomato Canapes with Ohio Goat Cheese as well as his delicious House Cured Alaskan Salmon... They were definite crowd pleasers.

Gazpacho, Anyone?
Salmon Dave's Executive Chef, Cesar Echeverria, has created a new menu to wrap up the last half of the Summer. He is featuring his twist on a refreshing classic summertime soup, Chilled Shrimp Gazpacho. This refreshingly cold soup hails from Southern Spain. It consists of a base of pureed vegetables with local Roma Tomatoes and English Cucumbers. It is finished with a topping of Baby Shrimp & Sour Cream. Absolutely delicious!
Other new menu items include Chicken & Peanut Potstickers served with a Sweet Chili Sauce & Tomato-Cucumber Relish. There's also a Wine Lover's Cheese Plate served with a variety of cheese served with Tapenade & Strawberry Mango Salsa.

West Shore Magazine's "Best of the West" winners were recently announced and we are glad to say that our two west side locations made it to the top.

The competition took place in June with over 500 attendees where the Cabin Club provided samples of their fantastic Kobe Burgers and open faced Steak Sandwiches, which were complemented by Salmon Dave's Award-Winning Lobster Bisque.

Local Produce at Delmonico's
Executive Chef, Andy Dombrowski, is again turning to local produce growers to build the freshest, seasonal menu possible while supporting the local community. Some of his favorites are micro herbs, sweet corn, a variety of greens and, of course, Ohio's own Red Haven peaches.
Two new menu items incorporating the local produce are his Bleu Cheese Strip Steak, which is served pan seared, with truffled cream corn, local arugula and smoked paprika aioli. For a delicious seafood treat, try the Pan Roasted Alaskan Halibut served with pesto cavatelli combined with locally grown zucchini, tomatoes and sweet corn...a wonderful treat for dining al fresco on our Outdoor Terrace.
End your evening under the stars with Chef Andy's amazing dessert of Peach tarte Tatin...caramelized local peaches served on a light, flaky pastry.
